Now that I’ve done a few shoots, I’ve come to learn that in this business you get to meet and shoot with a lot of different models; and some are better at what they do than others. But every now and then you come across a girl who is just on a whole nother level above the rest. And for me, Mila is one of those girls. Shooting Mila was great because she knew exactly how to deliver what I was looking for in the scene. It was a bit different for me working with her in that she wanted a lot of direction; but that’s ok because she knew how to take that direction and execute it perfectly.

However, when she first walked in the door I really wasn’t sure what I was going to get out of her. She came in dressed in this sort of boyish looking outfit. And she had on these crazy looking green shoes that looked almost like boots (similar to those Timberland boots you see people wearing in America). And I’m looking her over and I’m thinking to myself, “NO WAY, this is the porn star I’ve seen on so many websites”. I don’t know why, but I was expecting her to come in looking like a “porn star”. Instead she came in looking very tomboyish. So I was definitely caught off guard in that respect. But once she got changed and went through the hair and make-up routine, it’s like she transformed into a totally different person. The girl you wouldn’t have even noticed before if she was standing right in front of you… now became the girl that you just couldn’t stop looking at and thinking about.

We set up and did our (now routine) interview with her, and I must say I felt it was one of the better, more interesting interviews we’ve done thus far. Then we started taking pics for some photosets. We started out with her on the couch wearing this black tube top and matching shorts. I thought the outfit looked good in person, but looking back at the pics now, I wish I would have chosen something different. Anyways, next we moved into the bathroom were we shot a few more pics before I had her change into my white cami top and thong outfit. We took a lot of pics, and even started shooting a little behind the scenes video. We got all the way up to where we were about to record the main scene when Artem (my cameraman), comes to me and says… “We’ve got no sound. The mic’s not working”. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! You just wanna SCREAM when something like that happens! We had no audio on anything. Not the interview… nothing!!

All the video we shot up to that point was lost. But I kept my composure, fixed the mic and just decided to pick up and continue from where we were.

I thought the scene turned out great. We didn’t have any more technical problems and everything went down without a hitch. And of course Mila did a great job; despite not having any cock to play with this time around. Yes… I was forced to change this scene to a masturbation scene at the last minute due to a scheduling conflict. But I knew I had to have Mila come back and do another shoot with me. Partly because I needed her to re-do that interview we lost… but also because (in all honesty) after watching her masturbate in that bathroom like that… I was just dying to fuck her brains out. Lucky for me, she agreed to come back the following Saturday to do another shoot

Let me start by saying, this is a shoot that I don’t ever plan on releasing. I say that because Anya didn’t give a worthy performance in the scene, and it showed both in the pics and the video. Bottom line… this was a blown scene. Blown scenes piss me off because it’s basically like throwing your money right down the toilet. But as a rookie porn producer/performer, I have to learn to live with a blown scene here or there. So long as it doesn’t happen that often, I’m ok with it… for now.   

So let me talk about this shoot. I originally planned to shoot Anya together with another girl. But Anya couldn’t do the shoot when I was available to shoot. So I never shot her and I figured that was the end of it. I focused on shooting other girls and had pretty much forgotten her. Well, a couple weeks later I get a call saying Anya is looking for modeling work. This time I had my schedule open so I decided to go ahead and shoot with her.

Well, the day of the shoot she shows up WAY early! I had to tell her to come back later that afternoon because nobody was gonna be shooting anything right then. Again we had an issue with the heels (and you can probably see me rolling my eyes). I mean, it just blows my mind that a “model” would show up to a shoot with no heels. But I tell her like I tell the others… if you can fit into my heels then I’ll shoot you. If not then I have to send you packing. She fit into my heels, so we proceeded with the shoot.

So fast forward to the actual shoot. The first thing we did was the interview. Now I did this interview, just as I had my previous interviews… but it’s the honest truth when I say this interview turned out unlike any other interview I had ever done before. I could sit here and try to describe what happened with the interview, and what Anya’s responses were to my questions; but my words just wouldn’t do it justice. This interview is something you just have to see for yourself. I really could not believe the answers I was getting from her. This is coming from a girl who does porn (and she’s done a fair amount of porn too), and is actually quite popular on some rather well known porn forums. I think my whole crew felt the same way I did, and at one point in the interview we all just busted out laughing because we simply could NOT believe what we were hearing! If you remember back in Alena’s post when I was giving reference to the most non-sexual girl I’d ever come across in my life. Well, that title now officially belongs to Anya, hands down.

We did complete the shoot after the interview. The final video did not live up to my standards and I don’t think it’s something I’d ever release, but I had fun shooting it none the less. And we did at least get some cool pics out of it. I’ll spare everyone the details of the scene, seeing as though the footage will probably never be shown. But there is one other matter of importance that happened at the end of this shoot. It’s something Anya reiterated to us from the very beginning. She told us that this was to be her VERY LAST SHOOT EVER!! That’s right… I’m not bullshitting you here. This is what she told all of us. Now, of course I think she’s full of shit. But I’d love for her to prove me wrong. However, my money says that I’m not the last porn stud she fucks on camera. It would be nice to have her come back in for another shoot so I could call her out on this, but honestly, she’s not a girl that I’d shoot with again. I do wish her the best in her new career choice though… whatever that may be .

So in part one, I gave the short play-by-play from my shoot with Yana… and as I stated earlier, the scene itself turned out quite well. But picking up where I left off earlier about what it was like to shoot Yana, I have to be honest and say that there were two things that happened with her that kind of ticked me off during this shoot.

The first, and the biggest thing was that she came in saying that she had to be some place at a certain time, and was basically giving us a time constraint to do the shoot in. I have a problem with that. It pisses me off when a model wants to rush things with my shoot. I’m very conscious of my models and I try to move through the shoots and get things done as quickly as possible; because I don’t want a shoot to take the entire day either. I tell the girls it normally takes around 3 hours for us to complete a shoot… but it takes as long as it takes. And if a model is being difficult, rushing things, and not giving me what I need in the scene, then it takes us that much longer.

The other thing that irritated me had to deal with this photo right here on the left. Now we talked about the cumshot before hand, and Yana told both me and Artem “flat out” that she liked sperm and was going to swallow for us in the scene. Now as you can clearly see from the photo… no swallowing took place in this scene. But that’s not what caused a problem for me. Honestly, I wasn’t even thinking about that while doing the scene… I just came wherever it felt right for me at the moment.

The problem came after I had showered her with cum, and we needed to get some stills of it. That was when she made it clear that she truly didn’t like cum and did NOT appreciate being hosed down in it. Now why is this a problem for me?? Because she lied to us about liking it, and then got pissed when she got hosed down and had to sit for a few stills. I went and talked to her after she got out the shower to see why she was so mad, because she really had no reason to be. And by then she had settled down and said she was fine and that everything was cool. Honestly, it really wasn’t that big of a deal to begin with. At this point, Yana and I are cool… and I’d have no problem shooting with her again in the future. I would like to see her at her best (physically) though. I felt she came in a little out of shape for my shoot, and I know if she hit the gym for a few weeks she could really tighten up and show off that killer body I’ve seen from her before. I first found out about Yana when I saw some of her pics online, and I instantly fell in “lust”. Just based on her look, I thought “Wow, this girl has a lot of potential to go far in porn”. So I immediately booked her for a shoot.

The day of the shoot, she actually showed up like 30 minutes late… but at least she was apologetic. And since she DID manage to show up, everything was cool and we got down to business. Now, the only thing I knew of Yana came from the few pics I had seen of her, so when she walked in the door looking quite different from those pics that I had as my reference, I have to say that it was a little bit of a let down. I would’ve liked to see her come in a little leaner than she did… but that’s just my preference.

Anyways, as we prepared for the shoot, I gotta say I’m always amazed with the selection of clothes (or lack there of) the models bring with them to a shoot. One of the best things I learned from the few test shoots I did early on was to never depend on a model to bring the right clothes for a shoot. So I always have my trusty suitcase full of various outfits for girls to put on, should the need arise. Anyways, I was checking what Yana had on, and she was wearing this little black thong that had “sexy” written across the front. I thought that added a nice little personal element to things, so I told her to keep that on and gave her one of my white cami tops to complete the outfit.

This time we did the entire shoot on the bed. We took a few stills and then started with the video. The shoot went down fairly smooth overall… we didn’t have any “major” problems like we’ve had in some previous shoots. And the scene (from what I’ve seen of it thus far) turned out really good.

But now for the real question… What is Yana like to work with?? Well, I would say she’s sort of in the middle. She didn’t make my job difficult (like I’ve had in shoots before), but at the same time she isn’t one of those girls that just makes shooting her so easy and natural. I know Yana has had a fair amount of porn experience before meeting me, but I found she needed a lot of direction and just wasn’t as experienced from a “modeling” standpoint as I had expected her to be. I also have to put some blame on myself, because as the director I should be able to draw out of even the most amateur of models, the energy or vibe that I want for a particular shoot. But as a rookie myself, still learning the ropes as I go, sometimes things are more difficult for me than they would be for the experienced porn director. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m trying my best. To be continued…

Alena is a girl I’ve been trying to shoot for a while, but we just couldn’t seem to get the scheduling right. Then we finally got a date set… but she had to cancel last minute because it was “that time of the month”. Well, I did eventually get Alena to stop by and shoot with us… and thankfully things went rather smoothly this time. I must say that I was very worried during this one though. But more on that later.

Things started out as usual, with Alena visiting my make-up girl while I made sure everything was in place and ready to go for the shoot. Now, I completely trust my make-up girl and love the job she does 99.9% of the time… but this was one time that I REALLY did not like how things turned out (hair or make-up wise). And that became even more evident once I saw the images. In hindsight, it must not have been as noticeable during the shoot because I surely would have had her go back and re-do it. But what’s done is done. Another lesson learned for the future.

Make-up

Anyways, since the interview thing had worked so well before… I decided to stick with it. I started asking her questions about her sexuality, and what she likes, doesn’t like, etc. But after the first few minutes I felt like I was talking to the most non-sexual girl I’d ever met (no joke)! It was as if she didn’t like sex at all. I couldn’t believe (and still can’t believe) that a girl who doesn’t even like sex would be doing porn! I’m going to start a thread on this in the forums and see if someone can explain it to me, because I just don’t get it. But as it turns out, Alena is NOT the most non-sexual girl I’ve ever met. That title goes to another girl that I’ll be telling you ALL about very soon. And I think it may shock a few people to find out who I give that title to.

Moving on… I decided to shoot Alena in the white camisole and thong outfit on the bed; and her shoot went very well, without a hitch. And I have to say that it was on this very shoot that I had finally mastered how to use my camera. That pretty much put an end to my OOF shots. If only I had practiced and figured this out earlier I would’ve been golden. But this photography and lighting thing is something I learn a little more about each time out. So hopefully one day in the future I’ll become a master. Until then, I’ll expect to make mistakes here and there. But hopefully less and less as time goes on.

Next we went on to do the hardcore stuff. With the hardcore portion, we stuck to the same format as before. Hardcore stills first, followed by the video. I wasn’t sure what I was going to get from Alena after talking to her earlier… but I have to give her props because she was quite good when it came to the sex. I don’t know if I was impressed because she was just “that” good, or because I was expecting the worst after the way things started off. But either way I’ll take it.
